Authors considering Megadrilogica for review and publication of their manuscripts are required to:
> follow the format of recent issues of the journal when preparing their manuscript, and
> secure two or more independent reviews of their manuscript prior to its submission to Editor Reynolds for consideration.
Authors who do not have English as their ‘native’ language must secure a review and assistance from one or more colleagues who do speak and write fluently in English prior to submission of the manuscript to Editor Reynolds for consideration.
Authors are encouraged to recommend the names of possible referees (and their contact information) to assist the editors in expediting manuscripts through the review process prior to publication.
Most papers published in Megadrilogica are in English; papers in French and Spanish are also welcome, as long as an English abstract, and resumé in French or resumen in Spanish (as applicable) are included. Abstracts in other languages are also encouraged, particularly when pertinent to the region of focus by the manuscript (e.g., abstract in Greek for lumbricids of Greece; abstracts in Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada for earthworms from several regions in India; abstract in Mayan for earthworm records from Beliz, C.A.; abstract in Ojibway [Latin and pictograms] for earthworm records from the Rainy River District in north western Ontario, Canada, and yet other papers with pertinent abstracts in Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Bangla, Basque, Belarusian, Bengali, Bulgarian, Burmese, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Filipino [= Tagalog], Finnish, French, Gaelic, Georgian, German, Greek, Hawaiian, Hindi, Hmong, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Lao, Latin, Latvian, Lithuanian, Luxembourgish, Japanese, Kannada, Kazakh, Korean, Kurdish, Macedonian, Maltese, Malayalam, Marshallese, Mayan, Navajo, Nepali, Norwegian, Ojibway (Latin alphabet), Ojibway (pictograms), Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Swahili, Swazi, Tamil, Tenyidie, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Welsh, and Zulu.
Keywords: The inclusion of six to eight key words is required; additional keywords will also be considered.
By following the manuscript requirements, above, authors will be assured a more timely review process by the journal’s editorial board prior to acceptance for publication. The Editor-in-Chief, after consultation with the journal’s editorial board and outside referees, will make the final decision regarding the suitability, scientific worthiness, and acceptance of manuscripts submitted for publication.
